Free Will Offering

(half the offering to go to African Leadership churches)

Louis Brittz, a 35-year old lawyer, is one of South Africa's trend-setting singing/songwriters of Christian Music called to a growing international ministry. He became a Christian in his first year at University, and received his calling to be in ministry a week later at a Campus Mission's Week.

Louis has recorded 10 CD's containing self written songs in Afrikaans and English, and well-known praise and worship material. Many churches sing the worship songs he has written.

It is as a performing artist that Louis draws the most attention. He performs approximately 120 concerts per year with a 4-piece band made up of professional musicians. They deliver a dynamic performance built on acoustic rock music, with African, European and American influences. It is a unique style, and is the main reason why Louis Brittz-listeners are a growing crowd in Namibia, England, Scotland, America, Canada and Turkey. Louis and his band have toured and performed in these countries in the past four years.

The list of artists and speakers Louis has performed with testifies to the value placed on his ministry in Southern Africa. He has performed with Steven Curtis Chapman, and opened for Kirk Franklin on his tours to South Africa. He has led worship at numerous national conferences, working with Drs. Loren Cunningham, Tony Campolo, Bruce Wilkinson, Duffy Robins and every South African Christian speaker of note.

Louis regards his affiliation with African Leadership as one of primary importance. They have become the largest training institute for pastors in Africa, and for the last five years have been leading the field in training African Church-leaders in coping with the HIV/Aids epidemic.

Louis Brittz has also worked closely with South African youth ministries as a project leader, producer and evangelist, but is especially known as a mobiliser of young adults towards a radically relevant Christianity, firmly integrated in society. He is a firm believer that our generation has a key role to play in expanding God's Kingdom; and that apart from being saved and healed by the inworking of the cross of Christ, we are to take up our mantle as wounded healers who take the Message and the Love of Christ to a world that has heard so much, but has seen so little of the Christ who lives in His Body of believers today.

With this dedicated team of musicians and managers, Louis has had the privilege of seeing thousands come into a personal relationship with God, and then called and envisioned to apply their calling to daily life. This is a Holy Spirit-inspired ministry for which Louis and his team give God all the glory!
