Guest Barbara Posted July 16, 2006 We went down to Drumheller this weekend camping. We met up with friends and had a good weekend. The canola fields on the way there are beautiful. The landscape around Drumheller is so different to anything I have ever seen in Canada. The museum is wonderful and well worth a visit. But I must admit the town was a little odd. They have imitation dinosaurs all over the place.

vinceb 13 Posted July 22, 2006 Harry ,Just for you - the obligatory photo of the Bleriot ferry:Just like Barbara, I loved Drumheller, an astonishing place: i) A world famous museum - The Royal Tyrrell museum ii) Lots of old history - years ago they mined coal there and today gas and oil. iii) Once a year they have a Passion play there in an open air amphitheatre. Oil derrick in the canola fields and the The Passion play amphitheatreThe photographs are somewhat iffy - I had to frame grab them off a video.
