Cathy K 1,139 Posted March 2, 2006 (edited) 'n Kerkbasaar?! Ons hoop julle kerkbasaar is 'n yslike sukses! Thank you so much to all of you. Without your presence, it would not be that huge success. Willem
Adele 16 Posted April 9, 2006 This event was well attended and it was enjoyable to hear, see and taste all that is familiar to us. Just a few pictures to show you what you may have missed:The wonderful food Lots to buy, including face painting for the kids (and it was difficult to remove )Serengeti was there tooIt was nice to put faces to names of members too although they recognised me before I did them I did enjoy meeting, Heather, Werner, Marli and her partner, Patche and her man, and once again meeting Ingrid and her family. Of course the man behind the whole event Willem was also such a pleasure to talk to. And there was enough room to sit, eat, drink and be merry with other expats and their friends. fatcat 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Hi EveryoneJust reading about your "eats" prompted me to make pannekoek last night. Told my family about the basaar you had yesterday and now all they can talk about is the vetkoek granny used to make them !!!!

Our whole house is still full of boxes....Ai Vrou! My mom's motto has always been : " A place for everything, and every thing in its place!"Easier said than done. Yes, we still have umpteen boxes to unpack. It does feel like H:O:M:E though.Even our pets love it out here.
Adele 16 Posted April 12, 2006 But hey Ingrid, I also love it out there....have you made space yet for me to move in? It is a beautiful home where Ingrid and family have moved to. Now I need to visit Marli, since meeting her on Saturday, I have driven past her area about 4 times. Marli, when you are ready, pm me your address and I will come on over! Give you the proper Surrey Welcome! PS; Thanks for posting my mug in such a large picture. I am really embarrased that you had to ruin such a good site with such an awful picture!
