Sterkte!

Sangoma -

I friend of mine in Toronto told me her new SA passport arrived in Aug this year, 4 and a half months after she applied. So it seems you should have it safely in hand within the next 30 days or so.

I applied at the end of September 2004. Two days ago I get the news that the appliaction has been lost somewhere is SA. A new application must be sent in. So, you have been warned. Make sure you apply well in advance.
I have been through 2 temporary passports during this period. These get issued fairly quickly BUT are NOT accepted by the US authorities .
