Eisbein in Vancouver ??? Any ideas, leads or local pubs? Rate Topic: -----

Does anybody know of a restaurant in Vancouver (North Vancouver preferably) that serves a decent Eisbein?
Be it smoked boiled ...whatever!!

My investigation has come up with zip, and that's the one dish I miss the most from the SA days!!

Any info will be greatly appreciated!!

You may want to try the Jaegerhof Restaurant (604 980-4316) at the bottom of Lonsdale. Otherwise the Alpen Club in Vancouver (604-874-3811) would most probably be your best bet. There are some more details at the following URL: http://mitglied.lyco...stauraunts.html
