Work Permit first or PNP first

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Struggling to find info ,

Been offered a job,  my immigration agent has advised that we do PNP first ?

Wouldn't it be quicker or better to get the work permit first and then the apply for PNP ?

just thinking of the quickest way to get there ..... best for employer as well

regards

Hi

If you still have to get an LMIA, it may take awhile. The processing times for PNP are not that quick from within Canada at the moment, however I am not sure about from South Africa.

I came on a LMIA exempt work permit and that was processed in 2 months. I am currently in month 4 of my PNP Inland PR application.

Good luck.
