Cape Town Container Sharing

Recommended Posts

Robyn3

Hi everyone,

My mom is moving over to Toronto from Cape Town in April. She has a beautiful dining room table that she doesn't want to part with (she is selling off everything else). Is anyone coming to Toronto around that time and using a container? We would like to pay for space in someone's container in order to bring the dining room table over. Also, does anyone know of any other method of bringing a large item of furniture over...companies that handle this, etc?

Thanks!

Robyn

Hi @Robyn3,

Before your mom ships the table: Is she moving into an apartment or into a house? Reason I ask is because of space / home sizes in Canada generally don't lend themselves to larger dinning suites. I am sure that you may have considered this but just thought I would highlight it.

You could use U-Bag, based on my experience with them their service is professional and reliable. It will not be put on a container on a ship but on a plane.
