EE - Request to pay RPRF

Recommended Posts

Raquel

Hi All

So I need some advice :D

I thought I was being a smarty pants by choosing to hold back the RPRF and now I have no idea how I go about paying it!

From my google searches it seems that I can pay it here https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/disclaimer.do

BUT I see from here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/inFORMation/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=ZA&lob=eeprthat is says " Important: Processing fees for programs under Express Entry must be paid through your MyCIC Account."

I do not see any option to pay via MyCIC.

Please help.

Here's another way using e-Services, saw it on the other forum:

"When I got my request to pay, it came with the instructions. See below and follow the prompts to pay. If you are paying for yourself only select "1". If you are paying for 2 people select "2" etc. Then you will get a receipt in pdf, you should upload that in your my cic account.
Please follow these steps:
1. Go to the website:
https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Read the instructions on each page, and click "Continue" to proceed.
3. Select the "Immigration" link, followed by "Right of Permanent Residence Fee"

I tried it with the link you provided above, Raquel. And I got to the page where it says "login and pay" after selecting as per the steps above.

I clicked pay fees online and it takes me to the GCKey.

This is where I login to My CIC account, BUT I cannot see an option through this method :)

Right thanks MJ - I will try that...

Quick question - do you pay the fee per person or per application?

Seems it's price per application, but then your post above says If you are paying for yourself only select "1". If you are paying for 2 people select "2" etc.

Try the second way through E-Services, I think this is the correct way rather than the first one I posted above. I see the commenters talking about paying this way and just attaching the receipt.

You'd have to choose 1 for principal applicant and 1 for spouse, etc. This will bring your RPRF to $1100.

Ooops, maybe I am in the wrong place. Lemme check...

I clicked on PN instead of RPRF.... :P So it is 2 then.... not 1 and 1.

I think it's per application - the payment page states:

Number of applications (which you have to input), and also the Price (C$)/ Application is $490...

I believe it's per adult on the application. So if it's you and hubby, it will be 2 x $490. The only ones exempted from paying it are children. Somebody more recent can confirm but that's also what I paid.

It's per person. In our case we paid $550 x 2 and $490 x 2.

I hope you come right with the payment. If you haven't yet, I think I have an idea on where you should go to pay.
