Cargo plane with two pilots on board missing after departing YVR

VANCOUVER – A cargo plane with two pilots on board has gone missing after departing from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) at 06:43 a.m.

Carson Air Flight 66, using a Metro II aircraft, was supposed to land in Prince George at 8 a.m. but Vancouver Airport Authority says it lost contact with NavCanada’s Kamloops Flight Information Centre at about 7:10 a.m. Carson Air is based in Kelowna.

Oh my!!! This is quite frightening!! I really hope they find the aircraft and the pilots!!!

So far the reports aren't good. This morning it was announced that one wing was found, plus other debris.

No sign of two pilots yet. :mellow:
