Interesting places

So, here I was on Google Maps "exploring" Calgary and it's surrounding areas (I'm sure I am not the only one  ) when I come upon this interesting little town.

Alberta has a town called Vulcan!!! I almost fell off my chair when I saw that. Naturally, I decide to get a bit closer to inspect this interesting little town and I notice they actually have a replica of the Starship Enterprise!!! Ok,NOW I'm literally (I'm not joking) jumping up and down like a little kid on Christmas day. I jump on Wikipedia and do some reading up. Wow, sounds like a fun town. Guess which town has just been added to our "places-to-see" bucket list.

Good thing it's only 1.5hrs drive from Calgary. :ilikeit:

Any other interesting towns or places you have come across while in Canada?

Sideline

Drumheller near Calgary. Its a Dinosaur fossil park. Very interesting.

Black Diamond & turner Vally, has an interesting 50's/60's type diner and some old buildings. Also a lot of horse farming out that side.

Most places in the Rockies, so much to see its hard to define an exact favourite.

Saskatoon Farm near Calgary, great atmosphere.

Columbia Icefield Glacier
