Lets not forget also the most expensive city to live in North America .... So I guess we can safely safe there is a price to pay for your quality of life!

Quality of life must not be confused with standard of living, which is based on income.

One needs to read between the lines carefully to see who benefits from these surveys. Vancouver has been rated near the top of these surveys for years but ask any new immigrant and you will get a different opinion.

It is very difficult to crack the job market and earn a decent salary that will pay the bills and taxes and BC residents pay the highest taxes in the country.

Thats not to say this survey is objective or not, one must know what it is measuring and what it is not measuring.
