24/12/2012 - Decided to Immigrate.
05/05/2014 - Sent App(3rd time).
09/05/2014 - App arrives at the CIC.
21/07/2014 - Processing fees deducted.
19/08/2014 - PER received.
15/10/2014 - Medical requests.
18/11/2014 - Request for payment of RPRF and Child processing fee.
19/11/2014 - Courier RPRF receipt and Child processing fee to the VO.
20/11/2014 - Medical request received for child and appointment made.
21/11/2014 - Medicals done.

10 Sep 2012: Decide to make a move; 17 Sep 2012: Join SACanada, start research; March 2013 Start to get docs/info ready for application; 7 May 2013: FSW Application submitted; 13 May 2013 (6 days): Application arrives at CIC Centralised intake office; 11 July 2013: Credit Card debited - Application fees; 17 July 2013 (2 months): Receive positive determination of eligibility, application sent to SA visa-office; 30 July 2013 (2.5months) : Request for medicals and payment of Right of Permanent residency fees; 8 Aug 2013: Medicals done; 20 Aug 2013 (3 months) : Request for passports; 29 Aug 2013: email received, file finalised, visas ready for collection (114 days from application submission); 30 Aug 2013: Passports collected; 3 Dec 2013: Landed in Toronto, returned to SA to sell house; 26 Feb 2014: Final move to Canada... starting our new life in Toronto! God has truly blessed us. Thank you to all the SACanada members for your guidance and support through this process ;-)

Hello all, I'm new to this page - can anyone PLEASE direct my fiancé and I to the correct links to immigrate to Canada? We have been reading up on CIC website, but just cannot distinguish what is the best way to start this process....
We need to find a job first before leaving (fiancé Geologist), but we do not know what sites offer work to foreign workers....ANY assistance will be great :-)
January 2014 decided to make the life changing decision 25.02.14 submitted WES transcripts etc, applied for unabridged BC (received after 2 weeks), applied for PCC (received after 3 weeks), received ECA - very impressed with report gathering and completing necessary documentation for FSW application package ALL ready, just need Marriage Certificate - received on 29.03.14 submitted application, via UPS, on 01.04.14, arrived in NS on 04.04.14 application fees deducted off master card 24.04.14 received first communication from CIO 28.04.14 we are eligible and processing to start 13.05.2014 Received AOR from CIC in PTA, same info as before, not sure whether this means that the processing only starts now HA confirmed that my new passport has arrived 28.05.14, just waiting for my new ID book - then sending off to CIC 25.06.14 Finally received my new ID and passport and off to CIC 25.09.2014 received the long awaited email - WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED , have to pay over PR fee and wait for baby to come for medicals and baby's documents - feeling SO blessed 30.09.2014 Sent request for Namibia PCC - praying that we will meet our deadline 14.10.2014 Received medicals request but have to wait for baby AND have to submit baby's documents and medicals in 60 days after baby born - very nervous about deadline 21.11.2014 Will be sending Namibian PCC and RPR fees early next week 26.11.2014 Sent Namibian PCC and RPR fees cheque today

03/02/2014 : Unabriged birth certificates requested; Received back: The Month of March. Mothers unabridged only got back in June.
27/02/2014 : Police clearance application sent; Received back: In the Month of May
15/03/2014 : IELTS Tests completed; Results: 29 March 2014
01/05/2014 : FSW Application opens. We are still waiting for other documentation such as Wes and Mothers unabridged Birth Certificate
05/05/2014 : Applied for Credential Assessment; Received back: 27/05/2014
18/06/2014 : FSW Visa Application sent to Nova Scotia - Now the waiting game starts !
16/10/2014: Credit Card Charged at Midnight!
21/10/2014: Received PER!!!
17/11/2014: Received AOR!!!
02/12/2014: Medicals Requested
ONWARDS and UPWARDS!!!!
