Please guys i know this is probably answered somewhere in the forum but i just need some straight answers. 1. what do I need for the application. I know we have to have the IELTS Test, police clearance certificate, and a health certificate. Is there anything else? My Husband is an electrician - qualified, are his school and qualification certificates we have valid or do we need more verification. 2. Should we both apply for everything and both do the IELTS tests or are we ok on one application. I have family there which gives us another bonus. Please help, just want to make sure I have everything together before we apply TIA
I'd like to hear from people who have successfully applied for and received their study visa. Or anyone that can give me ideas on other ways to prove POF Proof of Funds: The current requirement is my full tuition plus $20,000 extra. Other than the bank statements, did any of you use your pension fund / provident fund statements as additional proof of income. As I understand using the house isn't wise as I'm keeping it for intent to return. Any other ideas for POF in order to make the application stronger?
Good day fellow members. I am requesting some advice from those of you who have used some money that was gifted to you as proof of funds. I will be using my pension fund and some money that has been gifted to me recently to make ends meet if have not landed a job if and when I arrive in canada. So I am seeking some advice from the individuals who got their PR with a similar situation. Did you obtain a notary gift deed from an attorney etc or how did you go about getting the job done. I know ideally funds should reflect atleast 6months in the bank account but if I get a ITA before that, what should I do? Regards
Hi everyone, New to the forum, We received our ITA on the 11th of January and we are in the process of getting all of the relevant information together, We have a question regarding submission of POF, We will be selling our business to cover the minimum amount needed, but after consultation with Canada Abroad it seems that this process may not play into our favour, We have been in contact with our accountants to start evaluating our business to enable us to see what it's worth as we will be putting it on the market before we leave anyways, but it seems submitting this as POF is not going to be adequate, further to that, it seems the application process may be delayed if we should submit an evaluation to CIC, and not have the minimum funds required still showing in a bank account somewhere, I know that the rules have changed and that you may use property to provide proof of funds, but no one seems to be in favour of this idea? Has anyone been able to provide funds by property or a business? Thanks in advance, Claudi
