Hi, I’ve been offered a job (specialist physician). Currently have an application in EE but CRS 416 due to age. I know I can get some points (max of 50) I think for a valid job offered which meets the criteria. Already maxed for IELTS and education so not way of increasing this score. This one does but I’m still waiting for the LMIA details. Been in the pool since August 2019 and doubt that’s even with the extra point for the job offer that EE FSW is the route to go for me. I’ve been exploring the Manitoba PNP and wondered if anyone has been through this. I know that one requirement is that you have a family worker or “friend” resident in Manitoba - we have a friend. So from my research thus far, it seems like the work permit route is not the way to go unless the job is non permanent. Is this true? Has anyone gone the Manitoba PRP route? I would expect it to be smooth sailing if I have a job already but on the online application, they don’t ask any details about the job or skill set. If anyone out there has any advice I’d be most grateful
Hi All So I have done loads of reading and am still confused. So hubby gets very low points for EE when we do the calculations as he turns 48 this year so no points for his age. Do we apply for a PNP first and then try for EE? Can you submit PNP application to 2 different provinces at the same time and see which comes through first? Once you PNP is accepted what does that actually mean and give you? Would you still need to apply for a work permit ect? Does it help to secure a job first before applying for PNP? Husband is a heavy duty mechanic / mechanical engineer, would Alberta or BC be a better option job wise and availability? Does IELTS and trade assessments have to be done before applying for PNP? Or when does that all get done, as I know they expire after a period! Thank you in advance
Hi all We have completed and submitted our EXPRESS ENTRY application. There is one thing I am however unsure of as one gets conflicting information on various websites and would like the community's assistance with please. If you have been accepted into the EXPRESS ENTRY pool do you still need to apply for a PNP for i.e. BC, Alberta and Nova Scotia or do they pick up one's willingness via the application submitted (if interest in the provinces were indicated on the application form)? Looking forward to your feedback. Regards Nico
