Good day I am a Junior Mechanical Engineer having obtained my bachelors of mechanical engineering science from the University of Johannesburg in 2014. I landed in Canada on the 31st of October 2015, since then I quickly found a job working in a factory. I am struggling to break out of the factory work and get into a job of my field, I have been applying and sending out resumes constantly. I worked as a design engineer in SA assisting a company to start a manufacturing cell. I would love to be able to get into the engineering community here in Canada. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards MrEngineer
Good day fellow sacanadiens, I have a question, but don't know if it's in the right place. I am busy applying to study Interior Decorating, with a international recognised institute. Infact, one of their "schools" is in Canada as well. Now my question, After I completed my diploma, should I gain South African expierience, or should I apply for an intern job in Canada? The reason for my question is, is South African expierience going to help met at all? Hope someone out there can help me. Thanks, Nanna
Pieternell posted a topic in LookingHello All. My name is Pieter Nell. I am from Windhoek, Namibia. I studied at Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. I graduated in July 2013 with a B.Tech degree in Structural Engineering and have been full-time employed as an Structural Engineer since September 2012.
