Hi My fiancé got a job offer (inter-company transfer). The Canadian branch has contacted an immigration lawyer to handle the process. It seems that they will want us to immigrate on the federal skilled program, problem is my fiancé doesn't have a matric certificate which seems to be one of the requirements. He was on an apprenticeship but was in a bad motor cycle accident before he could complete it. The job offer is for senior management level and he's gotten where he is with hard work and experience. Has anyone had this problem? Would the only route be to apply for a work permit (inter-company transfer) then after a year apply for permanent residency through Canadian Experience? Thanks!
