Hi Veronika
Welcome here! No, you do not have to be a member or anything. Come and join us if you like, return to every get together or not, as you wish. It's merely a group where we share any information, newsbits, network with each other and support each other.
Just realised I have tests to write on the 17th, hope it will finish in time for me to put in an appearance at the coffee club. It's supposed to continue until 17:00 on the Saturday, but maybe I'll be lucky & finish earlier...
Veronika

Thank you so much, we will certainly try to make it. Good luck with your tests, know the feeling.

I will be enroute back from Canada, and would not be able to make it.
Hennie, those tests finish around 1 pm, unless you have an interview afterwards. - BUT with a major traffic jam to get out. - park as close as possible to the entrance, i.e. be a real early bird.

Guys, I'm technically challenged and cannot get a Map downloaded to help you so please bear with these directions!
ROUTE 1:
N12 Towards Witbank
Take Atlas Road Offramp
Turn Right (Go over highway again)
At 3rd set of traffic lights, take slip way to the left (Northrand Rd)
Go past Keg, Lakefield Square, Wimpy on left side
Traffic lights after going over N12 turn left (Trekieve Rd)
Follow road to stop street (it becomes Southy after 2nd speed bump)
At stop street, turn left into Coleridge Rd
Follow Rd to dam - you've arrived so start looking for the red & white.
ROUTE 2:
Take R21 towards Airport
Take N12 towards Witbank
Follow route 1 directions
I hope this helps!

Hennie & Amanda - it was so great to see you again even if you're both heading in opposite directions.
To everyone else that I met today - thank you for your time and company.

Those hockey shirts are awesome and you guys looked so great in them.

Paul & Debbie thanks for sitting under the gazebo in the rain with us and sharing some of your story with us.
Freda - I hope that the sale of your car & home goes quickly and smoothly! It's so great to hear that people are getting job offers and moving despite difficult economic times.
The sunset between the clouds mirrored over still water ended the afternoon off on the perfect note
Thanks!

THank you Jacky for stepping in when we could not have it. It's a pitty that I could not be there yesterday. We landed this morning - and had a massive recovery sleep during the day.
I have some flags and a good load of winter pics for the next meeting.

Was nog nooit bekend vir my geduld nie.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everybody who attended the Gauteng Coffee Club meeting in Benoni on the 17th Jan. So great to put faces to names, share experiences and acquire advice.
Thank you Jackie for organising such a great meeting!
We look forward to the next meeting with great anticipation.
See you soon!

What about the 21st?

I've just been told by hubby (reluctantly) that he has booked a romantic weekend away on the 14th. (Yippee)

I can't make the 21st as it is my youngest daughter's birthday and my in-laws have decided to come celebrate with us from Margate so all the family will be coming around.
The 28th is open.....but please don't plan around us!

In kort:
N1 suid (uit Pretoria se omgewing):
- Draai af by die afrit by die MAN trokke, dit is die eerste afrit na die N1 se oorskakeling op die Ben Schoeman hoofweg, voor die Rooihuiskraal afrit.
- Ry aan tot by T-aanlsuiting
- Draai links
- Ry oor verkeerslig reguit tot by sirkel (+- 2.2 km)
- gaan reguit verby sirkel (i.e. 12 uur uit)
- gaan deur "boom"
- weer reguit oor sirkel (anders as die pad na my of die Lapa toe vir die wat vantevore vergaderings in Midstream bygewoon het)
- ry verby Sasol petrol stasie
- draai regs by volgende straat (by kantoor blokke)
- draai af by Samrand afrit (net voor Shell pompstasie)
- draai regs onder by berkeerslig
- gaan reguit verby sirkel (i.e. 12 uur uit)
- gaan deur "boom"
- weer reguit oor sirkel (anders as die pad na my of die Lapa toe vir die wat vantevore vergaderings in Midstream bygewoon het)
- ry verby Sasol petrol stasie
- draai regs by volgende straat (by kantoor blokke)

We had such a great time at the last meeting and therefore

that we won't be able to attend the next meeting on the 21st Feb, due to family commitments.
Will see you all at the March/April meeting.
